** Due to the increasing severity of MY ILLNESS, it has become impossible for me to continue to post on a regular basis. Unfortunately, as much as I desperately long to, I am also unable to visit each of your blogs often or reciprocate all the loving, supportive comments many of you continue to leave - even though at times it may appear as though you've arrived at some long ago, forsaken blog! With that said, I really want you to know that I miss every single one of you and that I really am still here! I'm just too sick and too weak most days to be able to sit up long enough to create a brand new post...or even read one. However, I absolutely do receive AND read every new encouraging word you leave (and, often, the old ones, again and again!) and I cherish them now more than ever! I truly appreciate your love, support, and, most importantly, your precious time spent on your knees in prayer for my family and me. It ALL means the world to me and I am truly blessed to have friends like you!
~Hugs and Sister Love, Teresa

FYI: All comments come to my email, which I can easily read on my phone. I also enjoy Facebook on my phone because I can catch up on A LOT in a very short time there. Soooo, if you're on Facebook, come 'friend' me there! {{HUGS}} **

MY PARENTS'
GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

LOVE NEVER FAILS ...

Daddy and Mama - Dating in 1960

Today my family is celebrating my mom and dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary, which was officially yesterday. I am writing this as my own small way of honoring them since I was not able to attend the big celebration that is being held right now at their church.

Daddy and Mama - Wedding Reception 2/4/61

I wanted to tell them, 'CONGRATULATIONS'
and say a great big 'THANK YOU' to them for hanging in there together through all these years! I know it has not always been easy and they have definitely seen their share of the 'worse', the 'poorer' and, especially lately, the 'sickness'. However, through it all, my Mom and Dad have proved to the rest of us that real, unconditional love IS possible. They have shown us that when the Lord brings two souls together, in His name, and they each work VERY hard on that marriage, nothing can tear that bond apart. Nothing!!

So, I wish my AMAZING parents a very, very HAPPY GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY!! I love you both with all my heart and I feel truly blessed to call myself your daughter!

Now, I look forward to ATTENDING their 75th Anniversary Party, although I do not want it to arrive anytime soon!! :0)

I appreciate that you stopped by today and I hope you all have a wonderfully blessed weekend!!

P.S. I would also like to wish my nephew, Andrew, a very HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY today!! It is so hard to believe he is now an adult! WOW, how the time just keeps on flying. We need to figure out how to slow it down a bit, no?!? :^)

Teresa, I've not been able to visit much the past months - but here I am thinking of you on Valentine's.

Just dropped by cause I wanted to let you know I'm lifting you up before the throne of healing and grace.

Teresa~ What a wonderful Blessing! My folks made this milestone two years ago. Hubby & I are nearly halfway there. Amazing so many people can not make it to this point. People give up, they forget to work 110% each, and they forget to keep God at the center of their marriage. I am so grateful God is their walking Hubby & I daily through the trails of marriage. I am Blessed. I have a wonderful Hubby♥
