Today my family is celebrating my mom and dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary, which was officially yesterday. I am writing this as my own small way of honoring them since I was not able to attend the big celebration that is being held right now at their church.

I wanted to tell them, 'CONGRATULATIONS' and say a great big 'THANK YOU' to them for hanging in there together through all these years! I know it has not always been easy and they have definitely seen their share of the 'worse', the 'poorer' and, especially lately, the 'sickness'. However, through it all, my Mom and Dad have proved to the rest of us that real, unconditional love IS possible. They have shown us that when the Lord brings two souls together, in His name, and they each work VERY hard on that marriage, nothing can tear that bond apart. Nothing!!

So, I wish my AMAZING parents a very, very HAPPY GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY!! I love you both with all my heart and I feel truly blessed to call myself your daughter!

Now, I look forward to ATTENDING their 75th Anniversary Party, although I do not want it to arrive anytime soon!! :0)

P.S. I would also like to wish my nephew, Andrew, a very HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY today!! It is so hard to believe he is now an adult! WOW, how the time just keeps on flying. We need to figure out how to slow it down a bit, no?!? :^)
