Hello! My name is Teresa and I am 45 years old. I have been married 23 years to a wonderfully amazing man, whom I'm certain the Lord created just for me! He is the most self-LESS man I've ever known and he treats me like a Queen every single day! I am also a Mom to 3 beautiful, intelligent daughters and a Mimi to 2 handsome grandsons. We have 4 furbabies who keep me company and make me feel safe during the times that I'm alone. I absolutely love spending time with the Lord and with my family.
In 2007, I was diagnosed with a very rare neurovascular disease called Dysautonomia - Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). It has left me 100% disabled, home-bound and mostly bedridden. To read more about that and what's associated with it, check out my FAQS page for a quick summary.
Before I became homebound, I absolutely LOVED watching my 2 youngest daughters participate in all their high school band activities. I also enjoyed serving with a very large Christian Missions/Outreach Organization as their Short-term Medical Missions Coordinator. Now my interests mainly include blogging, Pinterest, interior decor/design, buying and selling on Craig's List reading and watching TV. I also enjoy the challenge of being frugal and living a life without using credit (except our mortgage). I love to teach those who are interested how to become debt free and live without using credit. It CAN be done! Our family is living proof! We ♥ Dave Ramsey!
Each new day, my family and I truly rely on our faith in Christ as we deal with all the stress and uncertainties that accompany a very serious chronic illness. It has already been a really tough road and we realize this may be just the beginning. Therefore, we will continue to keep our eyes upon Him and keep praying for a miracle - because we know that through Him, ALL things are possible! Philippians 4:13
Thanks so very much for taking the time to stop by. It's truly an honor to have you here. Please grab a cup of coffee, get comfy and stay awhile!
