** Due to the increasing severity of MY ILLNESS, it has become impossible for me to continue to post on a regular basis. Unfortunately, as much as I desperately long to, I am also unable to visit each of your blogs often or reciprocate all the loving, supportive comments many of you continue to leave - even though at times it may appear as though you've arrived at some long ago, forsaken blog! With that said, I really want you to know that I miss every single one of you and that I really am still here! I'm just too sick and too weak most days to be able to sit up long enough to create a brand new post...or even read one. However, I absolutely do receive AND read every new encouraging word you leave (and, often, the old ones, again and again!) and I cherish them now more than ever! I truly appreciate your love, support, and, most importantly, your precious time spent on your knees in prayer for my family and me. It ALL means the world to me and I am truly blessed to have friends like you!
~Hugs and Sister Love, Teresa

FYI: All comments come to my email, which I can easily read on my phone. I also enjoy Facebook on my phone because I can catch up on A LOT in a very short time there. Soooo, if you're on Facebook, come 'friend' me there! {{HUGS}} **

MEET ME ON MONDAY

Welcome to the 32nd edition of 'Meet Me On Monday'. It is a neat little blog hop hosted by Java at 'NEVER GROWING OLD', the same wonderful blogger who hosts 'Friday Follow 40 and Over'. Here is her description of, and directions for, this magnificent Monday Meme.....

"Blogging is a funny thing...we tell our most intimate thoughts for all to read and yet most of the time I find myself sitting and wondering, "who is this person!?" I know them...but yet I don't know them! I want to know who the person is behind all those words so I thought of a great way for all of us to "meet" each other!

Every Sunday I will post five
'get to know you' questions that you can copy and paste into your own Monday post and we can all learn a little more about each and every one of us!! I will add a linky so we can follow who participates and get to know them better!! Be sure to link the POST and not just your whole blog!"

Here are today's 5 questions:

Questions:

1. What is your favorite kind of fudge?
2. Is there snow outside your window?
3. What is your favorite meal of the day?
4. Do you text on your cell phone?
5. Waffles or pancakes?

My Answers:

1.
What is your favorite kind of fudge?

Peanut Butter Fudge, especially from Hansel and Gretel Candy Kitchen in Helen, GA! YUMMY!

2. Is there snow outside your window?

No, the
re is not, but I sure wish there was! We live in the south and we don't see it nearly as much as I would like to. My hubby and I would LOVE to move north and build a beautiful log home in the North Georgia mountains, or possibly somewhere in Tennessee or North Carolina. However, our youngest daughter really wants to finish high school here AND all of our family is here, so we just continue to think about it and dream. Maybe one day?

3. What is your favorite meal of the day?

I love breakfast foods and I love them for any meal of the day. Yummy eggs, grits, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, hash-browns, biscuits & gravy, cereal, etc. I love just about all of it. However, these days, my body just won't let me eat much of it at all. :*( Fruit is the only thing I'm able to tolerate most of the time. That is very frustrating.

4.
Do you text on your cell phone?

I have 2 teenagers....what do you think?? Seriously, yes, I do have text on my phone and I use the feature quite a bit. The main reason I had it put on all our phones several years ago is because it made me feel better knowing my girls had it, especially at school. That way if there is ever anything serious going on at the school, I am able to get in touch with them to make sure they were OK, without trying to go through the busy main office. This has actually happened a couple times before and it is such a helpless feeling when you KNOW something is going on at the school because it is on lock-down, but when you call they will not give you any information!

Oh, and it is very helpful when your child rides the bus, too!

5.
Waffles or pancakes?

YES!! :o) My husband makes some AMAZING waffles and Cracker Barrel has THE best pancakes in the world!!

Thanks so much for stopping by for 'Meet Me on Monday'! I hope you have learned a few more things about me. If you would like to join in the fun with us next week for 'Meet Me on Monday', just click on one of the icons/links above to learn how!
Java and I would LOVE for you to participate so we all can learn more about YOU!

Have a wonderful week!!

Hi Teresa,

Hope you're feeling well today. I'm seeing so much snow out of my window! Now I want waffles right now :) Sending hugs to you.

I did a vlog if you want to "see" me :) Hopefully, I don't look too tired.

Hi Teresa,

I'm so glad you left a comment on my blog so I could keep up with you as well. I had no idea you were sick! I am so very sorry! I can only imagine how frustrating it would be, you and David were always so active.

I went to Dr Dan Dan too! :) He did an ablation on my heart in 2002, I have not been on heart medication since. He said my heart was confused and didn't know when to beat, because it had too many signals telling it what to do. He's a great Dr and explained things to me so i could understand.

I look forward to reading your blog, I am new to this but have seen Meghan's blog touch hundreds of lives so am hoping I can encourage a few people myself. If you get a chance check her blog out she's one of my followers.

You have a great blog! I read a lot of it, but need to write in my own blog, so am leaving yours for now.

I will keep you and your family in my prayers!

Hi Teresa! I think the very long comment I made to you was lost! Grrrr..... I'm still trying to figure this blogging stuff out.

Anyway... I enjoyed your blog very much, and look forward to keeping up with you. I had no idea you had this illness (or that such an illness existed)

I also went to Dr Dan Dan in 2002! I loved him, great Dr and was so good at explaining my condition so I could understand. He did an ablation on my heart, it liked to go very fast! (260 beats a minute - 4 times in the ER getting meds to kick it back to normal) I have not been on heart medication since.

Since this is my second attempt to comment this one won't be long. I need to write on my blog, then get ready to go to bed! It's been such a long exhausting week.

I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
