** Due to the increasing severity of MY ILLNESS, it has become impossible for me to continue to post on a regular basis. Unfortunately, as much as I desperately long to, I am also unable to visit each of your blogs often or reciprocate all the loving, supportive comments many of you continue to leave - even though at times it may appear as though you've arrived at some long ago, forsaken blog! With that said, I really want you to know that I miss every single one of you and that I really am still here! I'm just too sick and too weak most days to be able to sit up long enough to create a brand new post...or even read one. However, I absolutely do receive AND read every new encouraging word you leave (and, often, the old ones, again and again!) and I cherish them now more than ever! I truly appreciate your love, support, and, most importantly, your precious time spent on your knees in prayer for my family and me. It ALL means the world to me and I am truly blessed to have friends like you!
~Hugs and Sister Love, Teresa

FYI: All comments come to my email, which I can easily read on my phone. I also enjoy Facebook on my phone because I can catch up on A LOT in a very short time there. Soooo, if you're on Facebook, come 'friend' me there! {{HUGS}} **

QUICK UPDATE

After a thorough evaluation and a ton of labwork, I am extremely happy to report that it appears there is no new bacterial infection! To be safe, they did go ahead and draw new blood cultures to confirm there is nothing new growing. We should have those results in a couple of days. The doc believes I may have some kind of respiratory virus, or possibly even a sinus infection, as I have been having some of these type symptoms over the last few days. Regardless, I would truly appreciate it if you would continue to keep me in your prayers! I absolutely can not afford to have another serious infection again, especially this soon!

Thank you so much for your unwaivering support. Thank you for continuing to stop by and check on me, for leaving such kind comments and for your commitment to praying for me. It ALL means so very much to me. May the Lord bless each of you as you have blessed me.

Good news! Hopefully you won't have any new growth! Will keep you in my prayers! You need to enjoy the holidays, so that's what I'll pray for, that you and your family are able to celebrate with thanksgiving!

Teresa,

Thank you for the update on your wonderful news! That's fantastic!

I also wanted to thank you for taking the time and energy to post Alicia's adoption site badge, despite the fact that you have been so sick.

I posted a link to your blog today from Alicia's Facebook wall... where I am on what you might call a campaign to get as many bloggers as possible to post the badge as you did.

So, thank you!

Keep feeling better! :)

Thanks for your comment :-) I see that you do probably have a very good idea of what I'm dealing with. Dysautonomia is not uncommon in the Marfan community because so many of us have Mitral Valve Prolapse and apparently dysautonomia is related to that...? My old cardiologist thought I had dysautonomia until recently. I wish you all the best with your journey!

My cardiologists here is wonderful and he is trying to find me a new pain doctor. I'm hoping that it works out. I don't think my current doctor is heartless or bad per say, there is so much red tape at the clinic that it's impossible to actually get ahold of her. So, I just keep praying that what needs to happen will fall into place.
