I just read about an amazing event from SEARS called the Heroes at Home Wish Registry. The 2010 Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry is an annual event which provides Sears Gift Cards to America's active duty military families to thank them for their many sacrifices and to help them enjoy Christmas. In 2009, the Sears community of customers and employees donated more than $6.7 million in gift cards to over 20,000 military families.
For ALL the details and to read the fine print, visit the Sears website. Applications for this program opened today, October 13, 2010 at 9 am CST and will close on October 15, 2010 at 6 pm. You'll need to act quickly because this offer does not last long! Also, as you can imagine, since this is such a popular program, the site has been experiencing delays because of the high traffic, but don’t give up! Keep trying and eventually the page will load.
You are eligible for this program if you or your spouse are on active duty in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard or Reserves between October 13, 2010 and December 31, 2010.
A great big THANK YOU to all the courageous men and women who are serving our great country and to their families who are making the sacrifice right beside them! And, thanks to Sears for supporting our Troops!
