This song by Nicole C. Mullen is simply AMAZING! When it first came out, I couldn't afford to run right out and buy the CD, so I waited anxiously for it to be played again and again on the radio. Later, when I was finally able to purchase the CD, I drove my daughters absolutely crazy as I sang along at the top of my lungs! LOL! It is such an incredible worship song, you just can't help but sing......REALLY LOUD!! And with all your heart and soul! If you're at all like me, it might not sound very pretty to others but it sure does feel good. :0)
If you've never heard Nicole sing 'My Redeemer', you need to get a box of Kleenex, click play and sing along. You can even sing LOUD if you want. I don't mind. :=)
MY REDEEMER by Nicole C. Mullen
Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?
and Who told the ocean you can only come this far?
and Who showed the moon where to hide 'til evening?
Whose words alone can catch a falling star?
Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives:
All of creation testifies
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives, yeah.
The very same God that spins things in orbit
runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken
They conquered death to bring me victory
Now I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within me cry
I know my Redeemer
He lives, to take away my shame
And He lives forever, I'll proclaim
That the payment for my sin
Was the precious life He gave
but now He's alive and
There's an empty grave!
And I know my Redeemer, He lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within me cry
I know my Redeemer
I know my Redeemer
I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
I know that I know that I know that I know that I know
My Redeemer lives
Because He lives I can face tomorrow
I Know I know
He lives He lives yeah, yeah I spoke with Him this morning!
He lives He lives, the tomb is empty,
He lives I gotta tell everybody.
The Beautiful Nicole C. Mullen
Blessings,
Teresa
