** Due to the increasing severity of MY ILLNESS, it has become impossible for me to continue to post on a regular basis. Unfortunately, as much as I desperately long to, I am also unable to visit each of your blogs often or reciprocate all the loving, supportive comments many of you continue to leave - even though at times it may appear as though you've arrived at some long ago, forsaken blog! With that said, I really want you to know that I miss every single one of you and that I really am still here! I'm just too sick and too weak most days to be able to sit up long enough to create a brand new post...or even read one. However, I absolutely do receive AND read every new encouraging word you leave (and, often, the old ones, again and again!) and I cherish them now more than ever! I truly appreciate your love, support, and, most importantly, your precious time spent on your knees in prayer for my family and me. It ALL means the world to me and I am truly blessed to have friends like you!

FYI: All comments come to my email, which I can easily read on my phone. I also enjoy Facebook on my phone because I can catch up on A LOT in a very short time there. Soooo, if you're on Facebook, come 'friend' me there! {{HUGS}} **

SUNDAY CITAR - 'America the Beautiful'

"O beautiful for spacious skies,

for Amber waves of grain,

Peru May 06 2

For purple mountains majesties,

above the fruited plain.

Mt. Mitchell

America! America! God shed His grace on thee,

and crown thy good with brotherhood,

From sea to shining sea."

I love this song/quote.  It always touches my heart and brings tears to my eyes.  I love this country with all of my heart and soul.  It literally hurts me to my core to see what is happening to our great land and our people.  We all need to come together and return to the roots on which this country was founded.  We need to pray like we have never prayed before - for each other, for our President and for all the rest of our leaders.  Regardless the circumstances, we ALL need to pray - for EVERYONE.

Thank you for stopping by Sunday Citar! This blog quote meme was created by Fresh Mommy.  You can stop by her blog to see the quotes and photos that she and everyone else is loving right now.

See ya soon!

How beautiful. I think a lot of us take so much of this for granted...it takes a major event (like 9-11) for us to realize how great this country is...and then, in time, it's forgotten and we're taking it for granted again.

Hi Teresa!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving your awesome comment! So appreciated. Our journey to get to our daughter was totally amazing and intense!!! Our surrogate keep me as close to the pregnancy as physically possible it was like I was carrying my daughter. I will forever be thankful but also forever be in awe of our GS. Surrogacy goes SO much deeper then what you read in the media or the logistics of it. I think that it's awesome that you offered to be a surrogate for your SIL. It's just one of those gifts that nothing can be compared too!

Stop by anytime!!

I appreciate your love for our country.

And your plea for prayer for this great nation.

Thank you again for the sweet award that you gave me. I appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Identifying five obsessions will be the easy part.

Choosing five blogs to award will be a little bit more difficult.

I read some really good blogs.

Yours is one of them.

Sweet dreams.

Dear friend,
I have read up on all your recent posts from August 2, the last one I read, so I'm happy to say I'm current again!

This post on America the Beautiful just strikes my heart. I love your country too! After all, my country was once a colony under her, and is responsible for setting up our educational, public transportation, health, governmental systems. My husband went to high school in New York, and my sister lives in Virginia. My two best friends also live there... and so on and so on.

I am an intercessor for America, so I feel every word you wrote on this Sunday Citar posts.

Like Joseph, let us never lose hope and believe God is at work.

COngratulations on your first blog award! You deserve it!

And happy birthday to Bek, you do have every reason to be proud of her.

Blessings on the rest of your week.

Love
Lidj
